Now that you know how to operate and maintenance simple DCA bots we can discuss other both functions. on the 3commas platform there are also composite DCA bots, grid bots, and options bots. In this section you will learn more about each one.

Understanding 3commas Grid Bots
this video we review the grid bot and how it behaves. The grid bot is definitely a tool that can make you money like anything else on 3commas. Just keep in mind grid bots require a little more maintenance than DCA bots. If you configure a DCA bot properly, you can let it run forever with next to no issues for truly passive income. Grid bots help to automate trading, but will never be truly passive as markets will move out of a certain price range at some point or another. Again, if you haven’t seen our previous videos regarding simple DCA bots we highly recommend you go check those out as some of these concepts may not make sense.

Understanding 3commas Option Bot
This one might need a couple takes to grasp. The options bot is not exactly a bot – not like what we have gotten used to. It’s not exactly something that you set up and forget about, not at all. This bot gives you the option to hedge Bitcoin or Ethereum. You get to wager on the option calls that you make on deribit. Deribit is an exchange that can connect to 3commas via API in order to use the options bot. You will need to examine each option as they are all very different and can yield different results.

How To Copy and Share a Bot
This demonstrates how to copy a bot from “Discover a Bot” tab in 3commas and how to share a bot you have created with your friends so they can profit too. You can also get the link from a bot your friend has shared in this manner as well.
